Four years ago, with my voice high and my energy e Four years ago, with my voice high and my energy even higher, I started this podcast. And it’s been a learning of a lifetime. Thanks to ALL of my guests, listeners and supporters for keeping me going. I am privileged to help tell these stories.

Here’s the latest addition to Florida’s alread Here’s the latest addition to Florida’s already lengthy bans on civil and human rights. Proposed by Rep Chamberlin, the state now wants to “place restrictions on government agencies in the use of personal pronouns”, essentially banning the requirement of following non cisgender-gender pronouns within workplaces. This is an infringement of personal expressions and freedom, and sets us further back from becoming a kinder, more inclusive society where everyone belongs!!

New Episode! Ep. 32 of @achangeisachance_podcast f New Episode! Ep. 32 of @achangeisachance_podcast features Adriana Cosgriff, former Programs Manager at @statedept (United States Department of State.) As youth activists, we often do not consider the government to be our ally. Adriana has, and continues to build that bridge between youth and their understanding of, and access to resources that actually CAN help make a difference. What does it take for the youth to get engaged with today’s government? How do we leverage these programs for our cause? And how can we be heard and taken more seriously? @adrianad24 answers all of these questions in our conversation about how government programs assist youth activism.

I met Adriana when she spoke at @harvardcchange summer program and thought she opened my eyes to resources I didn’t know existed. Please listen and let me know what you think! Link in bio or go to anchor.fm/ryan-lo

I was really happy to receive some positive reacti I was really happy to receive some positive reactions to my episode on cannabis. No, it’s not a much discussed topic with youth, but it is very much a product of institutional racism. John Ehrlicman from the Nixon Administration admitted: “We[the Nixon administration] designed cannabis legislation in order to incarcerate Black people.” Marijuana policies are built on racism!

This is why we must expose the decades of unjust incarceration and reclaim the future of this industry. Thank you @citizengrown for speaking with me on @achangeisachance_podcast and opening all our eyes!
